YEMA’s CEO & Head of Design, Christopher Bôle, has worked on an unprecedented, contemporary Wristmaster version equipped with our In-house Caliber YEMA2000, designed as a luxury stainless steel sport watch with integrated bracelet that works both on formal occasions as well as everyday wear.

YEMA2000 IN-HOUSE CALIBER
Our second-generation In-house Caliber is powered by optimized components yielding slightly better performance than similar calibers, offering a Daily Rate of +/- 10 s/d and a power reserve of 42h.
OCTOGONAL CASE
The steel case has the shape of an asymmetrical octagon. We have used the complex case geometry to our advantage by executing every single angle with the same set of alternating brushed-polished finishes.
UNIQUE BEZEL
The bezel is inspired by a YEMA Sous-Marine quartz model from the 1980’s and is made from a single piece of stainless steel, yet it has three separate finishes, with the top and bottom bevels featuring an elegant vertical brushing and an entirely polished transition where the bezel’s horizontal and vertical surfaces meet.
ELEGANT FINISHES
The continuous alternation of brushed-finished and polished details captures the eye and gives great elegance and singularity to the case while preserving the marked sporting spirit.
RAISED SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL
The slightly raised sapphire crystal offers better readability, enhanced resistance and a resolute vintage look. Premium watches like the Wristmaster Traveller generally use sapphire crystal which is extremely hard (Moh’s scale 9 – Diamond is 10), and will resist scratching by most substances short of diamonds.
SPORTS WATCH DIAL
The sleek lacquered dial and printed markers are in line with the sporty chic design of this model, while ensuring high legibility in all circumstances, in particular thanks to the Old Radium markers over which we have applied up to 13 layers of Super-LumiNova.
ICONIC 1970's SUPERMAN HANDS
The hours and minutes hands are inspired from those of the 1970's Superman reference 53.00.16 so as to ensure the YEMA toolwatch aspect of this unique timepiece.
REFINED INTEGRATED BRACELET
The continuous pattern of vertical brushed surfaces and polished angles naturally extends all the way from the top of the bezel, to the case and further into the integrated steel bracelet, creating the appearance of seamless integration. The gently tapered links on the integrated bracelet continue the effect, vertical brushed surfaces continue meeting polished angles all the way to the butterfly clasp.
HISTORIC CASE-BACK
The great level of detail and finishes continuous on the steel case-back where satin-polished and circular brushed finishes elegantly surround YEMA’s historic crest, which is carefully and deeply embedded into the case-back with the help of a hydraulic open die forging press, for a more qualitative and refined finishing.
OLD RADIUM SUPER-LUMINOVA
The hands and dial indices are treated with Swiss Old Radium Super-LumiNova so as to offer perfect readability in low light conditions
PERFECT FIT FOR ALL WRIST SIZES
The 39 mm case diameter and 43.5 mm lug-to-lug width wear a bit larger than you would expect because of the fixed end links increasing the effective lug-to-lug width to almost 49 mm, perfectly fitting any wrist size over 6.5 inches / 16 cm. The proportions are pleasant and the watch wears comfortably and ergonomically on the wrist.
