MAINTENANCE TIPS

PRACTICAL TIPS

A Yema watch does not really require much maintenance. The only point of attention is to ensure that the crown is perfectly screwed down after winding up the movement and/or setting the time and the date. A screw-down crown ensures waterproofness by sealing the crown to the case of the watch.

However, some precautions must be taken to ensure the durability of your Yema such as avoiding activities that may expose your watch to shocks, Also, never use chemicals to clean and avoid to change the date between 9 pm and 3 am.

MANUAL WINDING

When you wear an automatic Yema every day, you do not have to manually wind it up, the movement and its built-in power reserve will keep the movement in motion.

Conversely, when you do not wear your Yema, it stops once the power reserve is exhausted. We recommend that you manually wind it up (between 10 and 20 turns of the crown) when setting the time and date.

WATERPROOFNESS

The watertightness of your Yema refers to the level of water pressure that it can support and not literally to the depth expressed in meters.

This water resistance limit is indicated either on the dial or on the case-back of your Yema. (Bar / ATM / Meters / Feet).
