The new Superman Heritage Quartz recreates the classic features of the original Superman reference 53.00.16 model from the 1970s. With its iconic YEMA bezel-lock mechanism and with its 660 feet water resistance, the Superman is designed for underwater diving. The steel case has been redesigned in 3D as per the original model then modified to accommodate a Ronda 515 movement. The domed crystal contributes to the unique and resolutely vintage look.

I bought this watch in the summer sale and after having/wearing it for a week I must say that it's far exceeded my expectations. It's elegant, sophisticated and extremely comfortable to wear (my model came with a leather motorsport strap). The visibility, being a diving watch, is fantastic. Additionally, the blue face, which changes with the light, is stunning. The only down side to the purchase was the box that the watch came in - it was very cheap and poor quality. Finally, the service from Yema was first class.
I received my Superman Quartz a couple of days ago and I am very happy with it. The quality of the case and bracelet is excellent. It wears like no other and is arguably my most comfortable watch. The dial is very legible and uncluttered. Luminosity is good and works well into the night. I love the bezel action and the locking mechanism. It does work without a problem even when I wear the watch on my wrist. I just need to unscrew the crown two spins to use the bezel and since the crown stem is long, I would argue that you never compromise the water resistance of the screwdown crown while using the bezel. After 6 Days of measuring, the movement runs at a consistent +0.4 seconds a day which is excellent. My collection is made up of a Tudor Black Bay, a Omega Seamaster Chronograph, a Omega Speedmaster Date and a Breitling Aerospace and I wore my Yema straight since I got it. It's a really nice little watch that is so light and thin that you almost forget you are wearing it and with the precise quartz movement that should run for up to 45 months on one battery it is going to be my go-to watch for "rough" activities or a backup for holidays and going to places where I don't want to bring my other watches. I heard it on YouTube and read it in the forums and can confirm the Yema Superman is a "dressy" diver. On a leather strap I would wear it even with a suit. It is very versatile. Thanks for making a very nice product.
