The new Superman Heritage recreates the classic features of the original model with its distinct black dial and round markers, Recreating the iconic YEMA bezel-lock mechanism and with a 990 feet / 300 meters water resistance, the Superman is designed for underwater diving. The steel case has been redesigned in 3D as per the original model then modified to accommodate a Sellita SW200-1 Swiss movement. The domed crystal contributes to the unique and resolutely vintage look.
This Swiss movement is mostly recognised for its reliability. With 26 Ruby jewels, it beats at 28,800 A/h and offers a power reserve of 38 hours.
The 316L steel unidirectional count-up bezel with a 0-60 scale black aluminium insert ensures same vintage look as the 1970's original model.
The unique Superman bezel-lock at 3 o'clock has proven very useful to professional divers and is found on all Superman models since 1963.
The Superman Heritage features a high quality 2.60mm thick double dome sapphire crystal, offering increased scratch resistance (Mohs 9 scale - Diamond 10) and a resolute vintage look while ensuring perfect readability when underwater. This type of double dome crystal is mainly found in high-end watches because the construction of its two convex faces requires 3x more sapphire than plain sapphire crystals.
The iconic chromed seconds hand with its head shaped like a shovel is exactly the same used in the 1970's original model.
The Superman Heritage anti-corrosion 316 L stainless steel band with secure-lock comes with a divers extension so you can adjust it easily and quickly over a diving suit.
Inspired from the 1960's tropical style rubber straps, this second generation Tropic strap design will please vintage watch collectors but also those who are looking for the perfect strap to wear during aquatic or physical activities
The hands and markers are treated with Swiss SUPER-LUMINOVA® so as to offer perfect readability in low light conditions.

Amazing watch! Amazing service! Looking forward to buy again here! Thank you
I was more than surprised how much I liked this watch. Yema really brought back the1970 Superman with this beauty. I’m very happy with this watch.
I’d been looking for my perfect watch for a while browsing the Internet, fashion and luxury magazines and so on. I was looking for a non-overpriced high quality watch with the perfect vintage touch. I had an eye on a few items that met the criteria almost, but not 100%. They were either a tad too expensive or I wasn’t totally in love with the design, so I hesitated making the purchase. By mere accident I stumbled across a picture showing the Superman Hertiage - think it was on Insta. I immediately fell for the design and when I saw that the specs ticked all of my boxes, it was a quick decision in the end. Delivery was super fast, the 39mm looks great on my wrist and I am super happy so far. Thanks Yema
The Yema Heritage is a really beautiful dive watch that is on the smaller side of the dive watch spectrum. That makes it perfect for someone with smaller wrists (18cm/7inch). There is not a lot offers in that size range. Due to the relatively small size the watch is not obstrusive and very comfortable to wear. The bezel lock mechanism (while not particularly functional) is a nice retro touch that gives the watch a unique appearance and personality (an of course connects it to the brand's past). The finishing is flawless, I couldn't find any flaws, the bezel is perfectly aligned. The movement is accurate (in my case about +2s a day). I didn't order the bracelet so I cannot comment on that. The tropic dive strap is nice and comfortable to wear, however, it is very long (which it probably has to be in order to fit over a diving suit). That means that on my wrist (18cm/7Inch) the end of the strap reaches almost up to the watch case, making it rather unsuitable for daily wear. I have put the watch on a Nato strap and am absolutely happy with the look. While the lug width is 19mm it fits most 20mm Nato straps with a little "squeeze". I am using a Phoenix strap that runs rather narrow and fits fine. Nevertheless, in my opinion Nato straps would be a perfect addition to Yema's strap offerings. Customer service is excellent. Very fast response and very friendly and helpful. Shipping to Germany was superfast (ordered Monday evening, shipped on Tuesday, received on Wednesday). Overall, a beautiful and functional watch that has its own character a a distinct personality. Highly recommended.
The Yema Superman Heritage is a historical dive watch, claiming to be the first 300meter water resistant watch - also it has the patented bezel-locking mechanism, which is very unique, and does indeed work, but feels a little fragile, and does tend to collect dirt. (also it doesn't quite align perfectly) I've even considered removing it. The watch itself is absolutely beautiful, reminds of a slightly classier version of vintage submariner, but with its own personality. The general quality of the watch is very impressive, but there are some QC issues I noticed after receiving the watch - these pertain mainly to the bracelet. While I think the bracelet looks very good at a distance (I have the 39mm version), the bracelet has some design flaws and quality issues. The links tend to rub each other (some of them) and get stuck somehow. I've tried to massage it somehow, didn't quite do the trick. Also the microadjust on the clasp is useless (it has 2 positions), 1 of the positions wont let the clasp close. So I can't quite get the perfect fit. These QC issues mean I won't give it quite 5 stars. Despite it's minor flaws, the watch has immense personality, and I will definitely be keeping for the rest of my days. I love it. I realize this watch is recently re-released, and minor changes may be made. Thanks for reading.
